Ruth was a force in Maryland Republican Party circles for decades, serving many roles including as President of the Maryland Federation of Republican Women. She not only held these positions, she worked them fiercely, outdone by no one.

We will miss her dearly, deeply grateful for knowing her and having the opportunity to work with her side by side. She made the world a better place for so many beyond politics, to include her students as a teacher over the years, her many guests as long-time B&B owner and hostess, and as a good and faithful servant – and pianist – for her hometown Sand Spring Church of God in Friendsville, Maryland.

We thank God for her life. And say with great assurance, we will not see her like again.

RIP Ruth. Our love and gratitude to you always.
