Maryland State Constitutional Amendment to expand commercial gaming in the State of Maryland. This would authorize sports and events betting for the primary purpose of raising revenue for education.

VOTE AGAINST QUESTION A
Charter Amendment by County Council to allow the Council to increase property taxes from year to year without limit by a unanimous vote of current council members.

VOTE FOR QUESTION B
Charter Amendment by Citizens Petition to eliminate the Council’s ability to override the property tax limit by vote, even by unanimous vote. This will stop unnecessary new property tax increases.

VOTE AGAINST QUESTION C
Charter Amendment by the County Council to increase the size of Council from 9 to 11 members. The Council would have 7 elected Council members by District and maintain the current 4 at-large members, at added expense.

VOTE FOR QUESTION D
Charter Amendment by Citizens Petition to alter Council composition to 9 Districts with a Council member elected from each district, providing fair representation for all areas of the county. This would replace the current 4 at-large members with 4 district members at no additional cost.
