Tonight our guest is Montgomery County GOP Chairman Del Lamiman was first involved in Republican Political activity over sixty years ago In Rhode Island. His first position with the Montgomery Count Republican Central Committee was as the Youth Coordinator in 1968. He was involved in the successful Montgomery County Charter effort and had campaign committee positions in County Executive, Congressional, and House of Delegates campaigns. He was president of the U. of Maryland and Maryland State College Republicans and the Montgomery County Young Republicans. He was the Chair of the Party’s annual Neighbor-to-Neighbor Campaign collecting $45,000 (present value $319,000) in door-to-door contributions.
