Our guest tonight is David Almasi, who serves as vice president of the National Center for Public Policy Research. Previously he served as the National Center’s executive director and director of media.

Almasi has also served as director of media programs for Defenders of Property Rights, Putting People First, and Accuracy in Academia. In addition, he is an experienced writer. His commentaries have appeared in such publications as The Washington Post, The Houston Chronicle, The Detroit Free Press, The Miami Herald, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and The Orlando Sentinel, among others.

Almasi is also co-author, with David Ridenour, of the 1990 book Nicaragua’s Continuing Revolution (Signal Books).

Almasi is a 1989 graduate of Northwestern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a specialization in both American Government and Comparative Political Systems. He lives in Virginia with his wife, Nancy.
