What is Direct Line Live?

Direct Line – LIVE is an interactive program that allows the audience to participate while we are all practicing “Social Distancing”.   We will be featuring notable leaders from around the Republican leaders, candidates and other notable conservative guests on our program.

The show will air LIVE Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:15 pm on Facebook LIVE;  We will have archives available if you missed the live show.

Ethan Gutmann, an award-winning China analyst and human-rights investigator, is the author of Losing the New China (Encounter Books, 2004) and The Slaughter (Prometheus, 2014). He has written for publications such as the Wall Street Journal Asia, The Weekly Standard, National Review, and Investor’s Business Daily, while providing testimony and briefings to the United States Congress, the Central Intelligence Agency, the European Parliament, the United Nations, and the parliaments of Ottawa, Canberra, Dublin, Jerusalem, Prague, Edinburgh, and London. A former foreign-policy analyst at the Brookings Institution, Gutmann has appeared on PBS, CNN, BBC, and CNBC. He was recently nominated for the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize.

Direct Line – Patrick O’Keefe – July 8, 2020 – 7:30 pm – Episode 18- 1

Patrick O’Keefe is the Director of Customer Success for Anedot. He’s responsible for managing the Success team to help Anedot customers get the most out of their efforts to drive fundraising and engagement. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer for the Political Communications Master’s program at the University of Florida, where he teaches Introduction to Digital Political Organizing and Capstone courses.

Patrick previously served as the Executive Director for the Maryland Republican Party, Head of Growth for an ed-tech start-up, and has served as a digital marketing consultant for more than three dozen companies.

Patrick was a graduate with distinction from the University of Florida with a Master of Arts in Mass Communication with a specialization in Web Design and Online Communications. He graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida International University after serving as Student Body President and University Trustee.

Michael Musante, President, Musante Strategies, LLC

Michael is the President of Musante Strategies, LLC, a government relations firm operating in the District of Columbia since 2005. Michael develops and implements strategies in the areas of government relations and legislative outreach at the federal, state, and local levels. Michael has advanced legislative initiatives for multiple clients in the non-profit and private sector focusing primarily on education and education reform efforts. Prior to founding Musante Strategies, Michael served in a variety of roles for non-profits, private companies and a government agency including The Center for Education Reform (CER); Koch Industries; The Charles Koch Foundation; and the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. As a long-time resident, Michael has found opportunities to contribute locally to the District. Currently, Michael chairs two Mayoral appointed Commissions in the District of Columbia dealing with public charter school financing and public school student mental health initiatives. He has also served as an elected official in the District of Columbia by serving a two-year term as a local advisory neighborhood commissioner in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Ward 6.

He currently resides in Washington, DC with his wife, Ramola and two their two children, Simryn and Kian.
