Republicans Annual Charity drive for the local USMC Toys for Tots Campaign continues despite COVID.
Helping the less fortunate in Montgomery County in the age of COVID. Typically, the Local Republican Party and Republican Clubs join forces to collect Toys for the local USMC Toys for Tot’s Campaign this is done by having a potluck Christmas Party, in Kensington, Maryland.
Mark Uncapher, President of the Montgomery County Republican Club said, Adapting to our COVID challenged world, Montgomery County Republicans continued their annual traditional of collecting Toys for Tots. Each year we remember the holiday spirit and those kids who are less fortunate.
Paul Gunther, USMC Toys for Tots Coordinator for Montgomery County – “I’ve been to the Annual MCGOP Holiday event since 2012 and this year of COVID, loading up 7 to 8 Toys for Tots boxes this year along with the generous donations totaling $2,450.00 is the most given by MCGOP members and this will go along long way” Thank you to everyone!
